Roles & Responsibilities
- Review and analyse historical and current financial statements of the client to determine the viability of the business;
- Work with various stakeholders of the client in administration of various forms of corporate insolvency and restructuring engagements;
- Deal with creditors’ queries, recover and realise assets, and comply the statutory obligations of the administrators;
- Assist in conducting investigations of past transactions;
- Adjudication of creditors’ claim;
- Assist with the preparation of draft reports, minutes of meeting presentations and correspondence;
- Work onsite to assist the team in carrying out duties and collating information required;
- Facilitate and attend meetings with client and key stakeholders;
- Proactively assist in the management of several clients;
- Train and lead staff.
Requirements
- Degree in Commerce, including Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or professional accounting qualifications
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in audit and assurance or restructuring and workouts
- Excellent report writing and public speaking and presentation skills. Able to manage some of the lower-level individuals and work as a team with good interpersonal skills
- Highly adaptable, able to work independently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
